Motivation with Musart

Musart Ellaahi is a published author, motivational speaker and Talk Show host. In this interview, she discusses her secret to time management, the concept of fear and advice on living life to the fullest. Here is to hoping that the new year begins with a refreshing, new perspective on life!

R. The last time we spoke, it was about your latest book, ´´Elaynna.´´ You are also an author of a self-help book, ´´Top Secrets of Attracting Money and Prosperity.´´ Not only are you an author, but you are also a motivational speaker and have travelled around Europe, speaking and providing guidance on the topics of worry and letting go of fear. You are not only an author and motivational speaker, but also a TV-host of The Life Show With Musart on LB24TV, where you interview inspiring individuals. How do you balance all of these different roles and your home life? What is your secret to time management?

E. Thank you for your time again. Well being a woman, I think all women can relate to this, we have it harder than men! I believe time management is the vital key to success, especially being a woman, we have a million things to do on a daily basis. Being a mother a wife etc and as well as trying to be a successful entrepreneur, I wont lie, it has been very overwhelming. So I have learned to manage my days and hours on a daily basis, where I cut down time given to tasks and make sure I am fully focused so I give each and every task my best shot. The secret to time management is, writing everything down! As not to overwhelm myself, I stick to five important tasks daily that I would either write the night before or first thing in the morning, and no matter what happens, I make sure I complete them. Keeping a short list keeps me on track and more productive that success is becoming easier and easier each day, by the grace of Allah.

R.Worry and letting go of fear is often your topic of discussion when you speak around Europe. What do you find that most people worry about and most people fear?

E. From experience and from the experience from my clients, the pattern is usually the same. As a human race, we all fear the same things, maybe on different levels but the insight is still there. The fear I mostly come across is usually, fear of failure, fear of success, and most of all, fear of what people think. We are in such a nutshell that we have made our minds too auto pilot that it just goes in this vicious cycle that limits us to grow or come out of our fears as well as worry.

R. What is next for you?

E. Well I am focusing on mental illness and helping people come out of different challenges in order to achieve their goals. Alhamdulilah, I have helped all sorts of people from different backgrounds, from as small as confidence issues to suicidal and self harmers as well well business related issues. I am hoping to expand more as a human being and help as many people as I can to be the best version of themselves.

R. What do you like to do during your free time or what are your hobbies?

E. I love to socialise and be with my loved ones and just turn my brain off from other things, ex. work-related. So I make sure I switch off on a daily basis or I won´t be able to function! I do what I love, I love to cook for family and friends and have a laugh, I love to read so I can gain more knowledge to help myself grow on a daily basis. I also love to watch Pakistani drama series in my free time!

R.Being a motivational speaker, yourself, who motivates others…what motivates you?

E. What motivates me is watching or hearing stories of people who have struggled and come out regardless of the factors. On a daily basis, I listen to one speech or talk from the people that inspire me. This keeps my faith and belief system in check, that no matter what “Musart Ellaahi is unstoppable”. It will be a lie to say no, I never get down or things never overwhelm me. I am a human being, after all, however, Alhamdulilah, I have learned that in life no matter how you are feeling or whatever situation you are in, it will change and NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE. Theres a solution to every problem, just have faith it will ALWAYS come, that is my guarantee.

R. Thank you so much for this interview. I have gained so much from getting to know you. We, as women, empower one another.

E. Thank you Rumki for giving me the opportunity to be on the Hayati Magazine once again. We were brought in this world to work together and lift one another.
