Amazing Serenity Skincare

serenityAfter such a long time away, I am back with an amazing review for you all! While I was pregnant, I received a wonderful gift from Serenity Skin a UK Dead Sea bath salt brand. Wow! That was a mouth-full! Anyways I was a bit hesitant at first to try it because I was 9 months pregnant, but after speaking with my OB-GYN, she assured me that I could take sea salt baths so I went ahead and did so.

I took the time to read several online articles about the benefits of Jordanian Dead Sea salt first just to make sure this was right for me during pregnancy. Basically, the salt contains magnesium, potassium, calcium chloride and bromides. Magnesium helps with stress relief and fluid retention, slowing skin aging and calming the nervous system. Calcium also helps prevent water retention, increases circulation, and strengthens bones and nails. Potassium on the other hand energizes the body and helps to balance skin moisture. Finally, bromides help to ease muscle stiffness and relax your muscles. Doesn’t that sound great!

I took baths twice a week for 3 weeks in order to see the results and let me tell you, it was the best thing ever. The first week I noticed that my back and legs were not as sore anymore from the walking I had been doing. By the second week, my swollen legs and feet began to deflate; my skin felt healthier and was not drying as much. By the third week, It is almost as if my body was awaiting these baths. I felt extremely relaxed, I carried my baby to full term Alhamdulillah, and my delivery went well Alhamdulillah!

If taking these baths could bring me such relief during pregnancy, I can only imagine how soothing it would be now. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to everyone. If you are pregnant, I would recommend speaking with your OB-GYN, however, based on experience, taking these baths really eased my tensed pregnant body.

Thank you so much Serenity Skin!!!! I will definitely be buying more!
